Thoracic surgery procedures performed by this department includes exploratory thoracotomy and surgical procedures to diagnose and treat surgical lesions of lung, mediastinal structures and pleura.
We also perform closed cardiac surgical procedures like management of Pericardial tamponade, pericardiectomy for constructive pericarditis etc. Management of chest problems arising from blunt/ penetrating trauma to chest are also done.
