There are 6 operation theatres, complete with stainless steel cladding and Laminar Air-flow system. The operation theatres are equipped with superior lighting systems and OT tables as well as sophisticated Anaesthetic machines which include ventilators, pulse oximeters etc. The six theatres are specifically designated to different departments.

There is an extensive inventory of surgical equipment which include:

There is a 12 bed recovery area within the theatre complex that is manned by well-trained nursing staff.

The central sterile supply department (CSSD) of the hospital deserves special mention. This department is responsible for meeting all the requirements of the operating theatres as well as the ICU, wards etc. From 1999 all cloth wrapped dressings have been done away with. All the dressing to the ICU as well as the wards now go from CSSD after sterilization, packed in imported impervious paper after careful cleaning and autoclaving. Objective testing is carried out on each pack by way of MVI (Multi Variable Indicator) strips and each lot of autoclaving has a TST(Time Stem Temperature) test strip.

Every two weeks the autoclaves are subject to a bowie-dick test by a colour index test. These tests, the purpose of which is the objective testing of the sterilization procedure, are all performed by standard test strips imported from the U.K.
