The right to receive the best care regardless of race, religion or origin.

  • The right to privacy during hospitalization, examination, procedures and treatment.
  • Patients and their families have the right to address their special preferences, spiritual and cultural needs.
  • The right for confidentiality of hospital care and clinical information.
  • The right to be informed about all procedures including anesthesia, blood transfusion, high risk procedures or their inclusion in any clinical research programme.Their consent for the same must be obtained.
  • The right for information on how to voice a complaint.
  • The right for information on expected costs of treatment.
  • The right for protection from physical abuse or neglect.
  • The right for access to his/her records in consonance with medical ethics and statutory requirement.
  • Right to be informed on plan of care, progress and information on their health care needs.
  • Patients or their families have the right to refuse treatment.
